My practice offers a compassionate, grounded approach to supporting young people, parents, and individuals.

I am here to meet you where you are, exactly as you are.

Let’s root in curiosity, compassion, and respect, and use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness to help you welcome all parts of yourself and get you moving in a direction you want for yourself.

Our struggles don’t exist in isolation and so we can’t resolve them in isolation. Many of our challenges are shaped by identity, culture, and systemic forces like sexism, racism, or ableism. Too often these make us feel like we’re the problem, when it’s the culture that’s misaligned.

Together we honor both your lived experiences and the larger context, so healing becomes not only relief, but also a reclamation of dignity and belonging—in yourself, your relationships, and the wider world.

I’m so glad you’re here.  Let’s slow down, drop in and listen for what’s really going on.

Teens

A Steady Place to Land

Being a teen or young adult in the world can feel overwhelming.  I create a judgment free space where honesty, trust, and humor help lighten the load you carry. Together, we’ll explore challenges, build self-understanding, and cultivate resilience so you can thrive as your truest self.

Parents

Held, not judged.

Parenting through a child’s struggles is a unique kind of stress—it can stir fear, self-doubt, and exhaustion. Our work together slows everything down so you can process your own experience and cultivate wise and healthy leadership in your family. This way, you can show up as the steady support your child needs without abandoning yourself.

Individuals

Coming home to yourself

Making the decision to work on the things that aren’t working can feel really big and hard.  Therapy is a chance to pause, listen inward, and explore the parts of yourself that need care. With presence, tenderness, and curiosity, I will help you get to know yourself in ways that feel manageable and safe so you can learn to walk your own path of healing.

About Me

I grew up knowing what it felt like to need support. I also knew the gift of trusted adults who believed in me and helped me keep going. Their presence showed me that healing mostly happens through relationships. As an adult, I chose to offer that same steady presence to kids, parents, and families.

Today I am a Clinical Social Worker and IFS clinician with more than 25 years of experience. My work is relational, trauma-aware, and rooted in curiosity and respect.

My career in social work took me into foster care, residential treatment, and public schools. I worked with families struggling inside of systems stretched too thin. Yearning to provide integrated and contextualized I chose to focus my work with young people and families through my private practice.

After utilizing many approaches to therapy I discovered Internal Family Systems (IFS) and it was a turning point. IFS gives me a way to welcome all parts of ourselves and move toward wholeness without judgement, shame or blame.

My other areas of passion include a deep love of plants, cooking delicious food for family and friends, couch cuddles with my doggos Bowie and Judi.
